KNOWNOW4AEROSPACE present at IAC 2018 in Bremen (Germany).

The International Astronautical Congress (IAC) consists of a scientific conference program and a space exhibition. It is the one time of the year opportunity when about 4,000 space actors from all over the world come together.

Global, multidisciplinary, and covering all space sectors and topics, it offers everyone the latest space information and above all new contacts and potential partnerships.

Each year the IAC changes country, theme, and local organizer, enabling everyone to learn more about and be part of the world space network. Your host for the IAC 2018 is Bremen - Germany's main space city and one of Europe's major space centers.

With its outstanding and extensive space sector encompassing global players in industry and internationally renowned research institutes, Bremen offers an exceptionally fruitful environment for assembling the global space community.

PROGRAM

Over 180 technical sessions, daily highlight lectures, panel discussions and associated events are the core elements of an IAC week.

Besides the congress program we are organizing a school student congress which gives the German school students the chance to be part of the vibrant space community. We are looking forward for ideas with a teen spirit!

The IAC is accompanied by several associated events which are focusing on different topics and target groups ranging from law via international cooperation through to a congress for young professionals - only to mention a few.

In addition to the traditional program structure, we will offer new diversity-related events in order to implement our IAC theme "InvolvingEveryone". We will therefore place special emphasis on our new generation of space experts, the expansion of equal opportunities, the integration of new countries and start-up companies into the global space network as well as the promotion of space science to new user groups. If you would like to create or contribute to a diversity-related scientific event, feel free to contact the Local Organizing Committee (LOC).

The Enterprise Europe Network offers, with the support of the LOC, the opportunity to schedule free one-on-one meetings during the congress on the Matchmaking Zone in the exhibition hall. Several matchmaking sessions will be offered from Monday to Thursday. Participants register with their profile and can identify and select meeting partners depending on expertise, topics and cooperation profiles. They meet providers of innovative technologies, get in touch with potential partners for future collaborations and find new partners for research and development projects. More information here.
